At Upright Planning, we are dedicated to customizing an investment strategy to help each of our clients meet their goals.

Every investment strategy we recommend for our clients has been carefully selected for them, considering their individual income needs, growth potential, risk tolerance, tax consequences, wealth transferability, as well as other important financial factors. The backbone of our investment methodology revolves around the core concepts of considering risk-adjusted return, maintaining a long term perspective, and diversifying portfolios. In addition, we use a variety of strategies to reduce expenses and minimize taxes.

Unlike other advisors, we focus on maintaining a long-term relationship with our clients by working with them on multiple investments. After we create and implement an investment plan, we continue to re-evaluate and update the plan, considering our client's goals and requests, as well as the changing market place.

Here are steps we follow in planning our clients’ financial future.

  1. Discovery – Find out client’s goals, their financial assets, the story behind building these assets, and their objectives to distribute these assets.
  2. Assessment – Analyze what clients have, what they likes and dislikes, what they want to keep or change, and any particular concerns they have.
  3. Development – Develop strategies to meet their goals. These strategies will factor in their individual income needs, growth potential, risk tolerance, tax consequences, wealth transferability, as well as other important financial aspects. This may take many meetings to ensure clients understand and are comfortable with the plans.
  4. Implementation – Help clients to implement the agree-upon plans.
  5. Monitoring & Adjustment – Once plan is implemented, it needs to be continuous monitored to ensure it is performed as planned, as well as make change if necessary. We request our clients to meet with our advisors at least once a year for advisors to review and update their portfolio and for our clients to update us their changing life status. Maintaining a long-term relationship with our clients is our focal point.
